June 2019

I tried to go back on track to paint people. To study some stuff and to celebrate her birthday, my best friend and I went to National Museum of Fine Arts and National Museum of Natural History. It was her first time to visit the said museums. Visiting museums is always my favorite. 🙂

I missed going to sketchwalks with my Urban Sketchers Manila family so it was nice that it happened during Ampao’s birthday. She was our youngest member before. She’s Thirteen now.

Motivated to paint again, I started with a reference screenshot from a video that I watched on YouTube about foods at South Korea.

I also painted Taylor Swift and Katy Perry from Tay’s latest music video, You Need to Calm Down. I’m just so happy that they are friends again. 🙂

Then yesterday, Ched and I visited Make Space Today’s soft opening. We made our first pins and we were so inspired that we actually booked day passes for July! We will create stuff and we’re so excited! We bought some art stuff at Artwhale too.

Wow, half of the year just passed by like that. I hope to create and learn more for the coming months. I also hope to gain more courage for my goals. 🙏🏻

May 2019

This was a busy month!

First weekend was our workshop at Museo Muntinlupa. It turned out great! We didn't expect that people would stay after sketchwalk.

Then our mother and daughter sketch workshop at Museo Pambata. I was so nervous! But the kids were so nice and they really participated in the activities. It was one for the books!

I went to Pangasinan and La Union with family. I managed to squeezed in some quicky sketches.

Komiket! It was my second time to sell my merch and I'm so happy that people appreciates our works. I also met new friends and exchanged some stuff.

It was my fifth year as a USk Philippines/Manila member. How time flies so fast! Also, this is the only year that I do not have a group photo.

I am still working on my sister's wedding designs and other stuff. I can't wait to take a break after all these. I want to continue my personal projects and practice and learn new things again. :)

March 2019

I sulk into self doubt this month so I didn’t paint much but I went to different exhibits, museums and talks.
